In the last few years i have really started to 'munch out' and have gained wieght as a result. I have started running to the local gym. Doing a workout than running home. This seemed like a good idea but it got me thinking. Does running and lifting weights actually make me lose wieght? Because if i gain muscle wont it just make me look bigger or more chunkier? ( lol sorry for all the scientific terms) But yea so anyways im just curious as to how this works so any replies would be cool thx :D

Yes, running and weights WILL help, but you won't get far unless you change your eating habits. Search for 'DIY WeightWatchers' to learn how to use their system without shelling out the cash. It does work and is worth the effort.

Also, make yourself do something new every week with friends or family...whether that means going someplace new you've never been, trying weird food, skinny dipping in a lake, whatever -- the point is to shock you out of your doldrums. People turn to 'munching out' when their senses are craving new, active experiences.
