shilpa shetty was being conitnuosly bullied but was never brought to the producers attention until the issue of race was drawn upon. a comment like "shilpa poppadum" was not acceptable but not the most racist thing you will ever hear. prior to this, she was treated very badly without any racist comments. so is bullying ok, but racism not?
