Would a white 360 controller work on the black elite console.?

I'm looking at modded controllers on ebay and one i want is the white version of the controller if i bought it would it work on the 360 elite witch is the black console<>?

Yeah it would. Ther controllers are all the same except the color.

yes the color does not matter, but a black one might look better with the black consol ebut the white will deff work!!
