Would the cd player in a 1994 car be able to read a cd-rw disc?

i might be getting a 1994 camaro and i want to know if i can but a CD-RW disc with a custom set of songs (in MP3 format) and have it be able to pick up the disc?

if you dont think i would work is it a problem with the format and it needs to be something other than MP3 or the CD-RW disc, or do i simply need to cough up and get a new head unit?

o and btw what if i burnt the cd with a special cd creator program?

Any cd player should be able to read a cdrw disc. It just depends on the format. If you just straight copy songs from other cds you should be fine, but it might not be able to read MP3's.
