Would you consider working for a company that encourages "craziness" and practical
jokes? Does anyone of you work in such environment and does it encourage efficiency or do the jokes wear after time and people leave? I just talked to a professional company that encourages craziness and apparently employees do practical jokes on others every single day, and during lunches once a week you have to dress crazy, act crazy, etc., and they say it is relaxing.
I have never worked in such environment and honestly prefer more professional environment as I think that there is a limit as to how many jokes you can take during work, and I personally do not like dressing crazy or acting crazy. However, nowadays, many companies like Zappos have such corporate culture.
Has any of you worked in such environment and what do you think about it? And if you left such a crazy culture, did you have hard time adjusting to more "normal" culture in other companies? Please let me know. Thank you.
