Would you read a story about prophecy?

I know its a bold question and it depends on the story and stuff but I've had people tell me they don't like those stories cuz there over done now? And others love them. I just want your option on stories about prophecies?
 
HI there whispers of the wind. I’ve noticed you have posted a few questions about prophecies there. I'd say prohecies are over done - well with oracles and those kinds, though I think i really like them.
To answer your question it depends - a story of prohecy, it depends on whats in the story actually, if its an oracle telling prohecies than maybe no, but your story can be something with prohecies, but with more other interesting ideas to throw readers of their board. I might read them, depends on how alluring the book is.

I think, in general, that it's a little cliche.

It depends on what the prophecy is about, though, mostly.
