my husbands car stereo was stolen at work on Friday and another man at his work is bragging about getting a new stereo. everyone seems to think it may be ours because he is somewhat known as a thief but he is a new guy so no one really knows him well. One of the men offered to go check it out (legally with permission of the man) and take a picture of it for us so we can compare it, if the stereo does turn out to look like ours we will know its stolen as they no longer make that particular one any longer so he wouldn't be able to go and buy it. if it does end up being ours how do we go about getting the serial number and the cops involved so we can get it back? the same goes for his ipod it was stolen along side the stereo.
