1997 grand am starting to run worse, idles funny, chugs and almost wants to die, EGR

valve? or what help pleas? use to run great nowa after idiling like this for a few weeks shifting is harder sorta have to giver more gas. idles very weird though chugs and pulls seems to me like it wants to die ;when in first turning a corner and stuff, going slow, it has jumped forward almost like popping the clutch, egr valve is all i can come up with, also its burning oil, not sure if its related but it burns up 1/2 a quart in 100 miles, we put dye in it looking for oil leaks but there were none anyt;hing would help

A service might be a good place to start, check the oil level too.
