Those are the 3 items i want to connect. The home theater system has a dvd player/amp as well as the speakers.
I would like to know how to hook it all up (how to do the cabling) so that when i play a movie from my media centre (not from the dvd player) the audio comes from the home theater speakers?
I was thinking that i need a HDMI cable and an audio optical cable (also known as toslink or S/PDIF)
Please tell me if i'm right or what i need and how to set it up
