I wanted to know? Anyone know of a software program that deletes lots of dead links to uninstalled programs, that programs failed to delete at the time of the uninstall?

If you mean in your add/remove programs list, try this program its free and you can use it to clean temp files too.

Its called CCleaner

Go to tools in ccleaner then click the uninstall button, it will give you a list of all the programs installed which you can delete if they have dead entries it will remove them for you.
