system)? hello,
I have a lot of confusion and misconceptions and i will be thankful to you if anyone could help me ,but i request to answer only if you are confident and have some serious knowledge regarding this field.

as we know that any sound or music will be felt more realistic if we listen through a system used for replicating the real life situations (often called as surround sound systems and home theatre systems). now i think that these systems will be capable of delivering true/realistic sound only if the audio source(let it be a audio song) is encoded in different sound streams for each speakers of the surround sound system.

now based on the above knowledge of mine ,i want to ask that
1- is it true that to feel natural sound/surround sound ,audio song should have different data for each speaker of a 5.1 or 7.1 speaker setup (i am not talking about stereo speakers or 2.1 speaker system as i know that to feel true natural surround ,two speakers are not that effective however some companies like Bose claims to have true surround through 2 speakers itself)
2-if it is true then do normal mp3 songs downloaded from net have these sufficient channels encoded in them(however i think that mp3 songs have only mono or stereo streams encoded in them.so if it is true then most probably mp3 song through a proper surround sound system will however feel different and more surrounding than a normal stereo speaker system but as it have only stereo stream of audio ,speaker system just duplicates the same sound to speakers i.e. the front left and rear left speaker will play the left audio stream and front right and rear right speakers will play the right sound stream from the mp3 song.so we can say that it may not be true surround as there should be different sound signals for front and rear speakers of same side but it is being duplicated.)
3- if the sound source/audio song have stereo signals only then can they be faked as true surround by some program like Dolby digital or not.and how does the surround sound speaker system handles and plays a stereo sound fil having 2 channels of audio (mp3 song with stereo stream is a common example)
4-if mp3 songs cant satisfy the real surround what is the new generation format which has multi channel audio signals and i think if there are some available ,not most of the songs will be available in that format as the concept would have been new and the recording of new songs would have been taken place in that format.

i am waiting for right answer.
please help me folks
