Blueray will only play small amout at regular size?

I have purchased the movie Gamer for my blueray player. When I put it in, it loads slowly then it will only show a small amount of the movie. The amount it shows it regular size. I feel like I am only seeing one puzzle piece to a whole puzzle. The first time we thought it was the movie but we got another copy and we are having same problem. Any ideas why?
 
You might need a firmware update for your blu ray disc player. Call or email the manufacture with the model of your blu ray disc player. What brand of blu ray disc player did you get. Some off brands do not work well at all.
