I am currently 16 and looking to buy a vehicle of my own in the January into February months. I've already decided on the type of vehicle and narrowed it down to two brands. I intend to get a 4WD pickup truck that is either Chevrolet or Ford branded. Yes, I plan on buying used, I cannot afford new :/
A few notices:
I live in a 4 season climate zone.
NO, i am not getting a car or other 2x4 vehicle.
Size wise: Colorado - Silverado 2500 (in Chevy terms) and F-150 - F250 (in Ford terms) ideally.
So my questions include the following thing:
How many miles are to many?
How much should I trust the seller that everything works including AC, heat, 4WD, etc,?
What price range should I be looking at with 4 grand in my pocket? (Intend to get a job as soon as i get the vehicle)
Any other advice?
