Yes it will help you lose weight if you watch what you eat. minimize carbs at night. heavy meal should be done at breakfast then gradually reduce the amount of food in your lunch and dinner. carbs should be in the morning and lunch then lots of vegetables and right amount of protein at night. thats how i lost weight from 150 now im down to 130 and im only 5'4" by the way...
carbs = energy
protein = building/repairing muscles
check your BMI first if you're overweight or you just need to be toned. good luck!
