This book is about a boy who when he was young accidentally killed another boy with fire(i believe with matches) although he did not kill him he was found guilty of murder and was sent to a juvenile detention center he got out on bail at 16 or 18 and moved to a town where no one knew who he was soon enough the towns people found out and he moved away again where he met a book keeper who he falls in love with.
