Can I buy a car and not insure it till I have my drivers license?

I want to be able to have my car before I'm a fully qualified driver because I've just seen it for a price I will not find again, and I'm happy to pay the road tax till I have my full lisence

So where will it be , You cant tax it till its insured anyway , You can buy it and store it off road until you are ready
