Can somebody recommend me some good sci-fi, horror, mystery, or thriller books?

It has to be at least 185 but shorter than 220.

I can not read long books I mean they have to be really interesting.

and for a 15yr old please
 
Clockwork, by Philip Pulman is really short, but it's a great read.
And House of Leaves, by Mark Z. Danielewski (my favorite book ever) is 3x as long as you wanted, but it's really interesting.
Sabriel, Lireal, and Abhorsen (three separate books) by Garth Nix are great too. So are the Keys to the Kingdom series (same author).
 
oryx and crake (this one might be longer--not too much-- but it's really interesting)
fahrenheit 451
anything by agatha christie is pretty short AND good
