car amp to home stereo hookup question?

just run a wire from the 12v on amp to remote with a switch inbetween to turn it off wen u want to
 
i got a power inverter cabable of 25 amps and i have all the cables and fuses needed to hook my car amp up to my wall outlet, but i wa wondering what cord i hook to the remote plug in on my amp, because my home stereo dosent have a remote wire like my car did
