Deleting Limewire off my computer causing songs to delete off Itunes?!?

Since Limewire is no longer working, I was going to uninstall the application. In doing so, will my songs that I had downloaded from Limewire not "be found" if they are clicked on in Itunes?
meaning, will they still work? Or will I have to keep my Limewire program so that the songs will still be available for me on my Itunes?
