interesting points about the UFC? e.g. such as about how so many UFC fighters are inducted into their hall of fame, despite not even being retired? some of which have had relatively few fights? (e.g. in most sports you have to be retired for at least 10 years before they consider inducting you)

or how a fighter can have a title fight after only a couple of fights? (it all depends on if the audience likes you or not. If you are not a crowd favourite, then chances are you will never get a title fight). In boxing for example you have to work your way to the top.

do you think the UFC needs to sort this out?

yes, this is the only sport where matches are set up to improve a fighters record or fan base. do you honestly believe dana white thought belfort v.s. silvia would be a good match? notice how dana said if gsp and silvia both win their next fight the silvia-gsp "super fight" would happen and the next fight silvia get is such a terrible match up. its been happening for years now in many forms, calling fighters with martial arts experience in something other than bjj judo muay thai boxing or wrestling "freestyle fighters" is bs. it all revolves around dana white catering to the ignorant fan base and trying to put asses in seats. something NEEDS to change about the ufc NOW!

Duh!

Remeber pride? How it was the dominant force in mma and way larger than ufc from 2000 to 2006 while ufc was in dark ages?
Well after ufc bought out pride with 400 million that the ufc borrowed as a loan.

They addopted same thing as pride almost. Fans and maybe only 2 wins were needed to get a title shot!

A lot. Of what the ufc is doing is what pride did. Except pride had like 500 less rules, they didn't test for steroids so you had 5x the amount of fighters than ufc had at the time. And they had tournaments and had 40k people in there stadiums

Ufc is know dominating for most part. But as far as matches go,fans seem to be driving deciding factor on who fights who if everyone talks enough
