No. Those who are professing to be Christians, who are claiming to know when Jesus will be returning, are not Christians according to New Testament teaching.

Christians who study the scriptures as we are commanded to do, knows that the scriptures teaches us that the angels, and Jesus do not even know when he will return, save only God. This is the "truth" from the New Testament of Christ.

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Ironically, God said that many would believe that Jesus is not coming since he has not, yet. So you are not alone in your thinking. I believe that Jesus is coming, as many believers do know. We know that this long wait is of God's love and mercy, in affording many who have not repented, and have not obeyed the gospel of his Son, the grace to do it before the day of judgment when His Son will one day return again.

2Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

However, those who choose to believe that Jesus is not coming, are also of the same who do not believe in Jesus Christ at all, though they may say they do. Because, Jesus said he would return, and to not belive what he said, is not to belieive in him.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

This information/truth is based upon the teachings from the New Testament teachings of Christ in the Holy Bible.

Sure, it doesn't hurt. Though, I mean, they do this themselves at Christmas and on Good Friday. Perhaps you could suggest holding a wake this holiday season to honor their beliefs?

The the most humorous thing about to me is they come up with a new date every decade for his arrival. If they read their bible their is no date. In fact, it says he will come like a thief in the night. Eventually the will realize the truth.

As I do recall, this is the attitude of the husbandmen in the parable who were caught drinking and beating the slaves at their master's return

"...Scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing, [people who] walk after their own fleshly desires

And say, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the forefathers fell asleep, all things have continued exactly as they did from the beginning of creation.

"For they willfully overlook and forget this [fact], that the heavens [came into] existence long ago by the word of God, and the earth also...

"But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been stored up (reserved) for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly people.

"Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

"The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.

"....The day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.

"...But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide."

(2 Peter 3:3-13)
