before the end times? Does Bible prophecy predict that there will be a World War 3 (III, three) before the end times?
Is the Battle of Armageddon considered to be World War III?
 
Lots of Revelation is written in a way of meanings. this means this, and that means that. It is really a confusing book. I like to read ahead, ok, good wins and look how huge the New Jerusalem is!
 
The Bible predicts that a great beast will rise out of the sea, with the number 666 on its head...

Still, it's probably a metaphor...

of course not. the content of the bible is just as mythological as all mentioned above.

the battle is the battle where they all gather to fight when jesus returns and they turn to try and stop jesus from returning to earth. the war will have raged for 3 and a half years before armageddon.

nuclear weapons will be used and diseases will run rampant.
billions of people will die during this 3 and a half years
 
It didn't even predict the first two. There have been constant wars and rumors of wars for 2000 years now, and no Armageddon yet.
 
Well Christ said in the end of days and prior to his return that there would be wars and rumors of war. Nations would rise against Nations, Kingdoms against Kingdoms.

There doesn't have to be. The Virgin Mary has told us that nuclear war can be averted if enough people turn to prayer and penance.
