Does timewarner cable has a year long contract like Verizon?

I've had timewarner cable internet service for not longer than 3 months and really I dont like them. So I have been thinking about switching over to DSL, but I dont know if Timewarner has a contract like DSL that cannot cancel service within a year range. Anyone know if they do?
