Does WII play DVD's or BLUE RAY?

No, it does not play either. The only system that plays blu-rays is the PS3. The Xbox will play standard DVDs as will the PS3.

It depends on the drive model number, Nintendo started putting a drive that does not read DVD's into the newer Wii's (D3-2) so the chances are that it will not. You would have to 'hack' it to get it to play them any way, there is a site with a list of model numbers that wont play DVD's try Google

Well if its homebrewed it can play dvds, but nintendo from what i heard, they are making the new Wii able to play bluray movies
