Ok, I just bought myself my first HDTV with 1080p resolution. And I want to try to get the most out of the DVD's I already have, and I have to be honest, I don't know too much about this stuff. I eventually want to get a Blue-Ray player, but it's out of my budget at the moment. So I was thinking about getting a DVD player with 1080p up-scaling capabilities.
My question is, does it really make a noticeable difference versus just watching DVDs with a DVD that is only capable of using composite cables? Is the difference noticeable enough to justify buying a DVD with 1080p up-scaling capabilities, or is this something that will hardly be noticeable and I would be better off saving the money for the Blue-ray player?
