if it stops working and is not playing your blue ray discs
its not broken ....go to lg home page and download the firmware and burn the iso file
to a dvd-r or dvd + r or dvd- wr
and place it into the tray when its done take the dvd out
and go to your player control and power off
count to 15 and turn back on ( note ) do not town power off on the dvd use only the control only hold the green power off
when it powers up again .......no new screen but everything will work just like new ............frimware all ways goes out of date
the same thing with you video editing software get your updates .......everything will keep running
