Hey im thinking on getting pet fishes?

Hey, as said above im thinking on getting pet fish...I want to get maybe 2-3 fish or around 6 little ones and maybe mix and match. How big a tank would I need? Pictures please

i would recommend about getting a tank 2 foot tank (2foot=60cm) i think these are a good started size tank this is what i started off with. i still use this tank as a community. but i do have a bigger tank now. but for the smaller tank u could get about 10 small neon tetras and 1 or 2 clown loaches and maybe 1or 2 bristle nose catfish. also 2 or 3 dwarf gouramis. and have plenty of small plants in the tank and have some rocks and drift wood. If you do want to get a bigger tank i think a 4 foot 1 is a good size (4foot = 120cm) with this tank just go to google and research mbuna community tanks and that will give u some ideas. good luck!!!!!!

well only a small tank e.g 10 gallon tank is quite well if you want medium sizes or evan a 5 gallong for some neons and stuff like small fish any ways i hope i helped lots of love zacl x x

good for you....fish are a lot of fun and becomes an addictive hobby. The most crucial thing is to buy a tank you will be satisfied with...too small and you will regret it. Most little fish school so 5-6 is what you will need for them and a tank of 10 gallon will only be good for one school. Most non-schooling fish need a minimum of 20 gallon tank. These would be medium sized fish 2 1/2 to 3 inches. Go min of 20 gallons but if you can afford it 28-30 gallons would be perfect...can put in a school or two and a few other non schooling fish.
