How can I download a DVD to my iTunes, and eventually to my iPod?

The DVD I'm trying to put on is a digital copy too, so I'm wondering if there's some way that's possible? Thanks!!!
 
You put the DVD in your drive, open iTunes and let it copy to your movies, lastly sync it to your iPod. It can take awhile because iTunes has to convert the DVD to mp4 format but it will work.
