How come my new Ikea home stuff (Sims2) isn't working?

I just bought the Ikea home extension to the Sims2 and it doesn't want to start up..all it says is CONFLICT WITH EMULATION SOFTWARE DETECTED.
 
You need to delete a software called nero. otherwise, it will not work. sorry for brief description as that is all i know at the moment.
