How did Jesus become the messiah if he did not fulfill the prophecy of world peace?

Non-Christians can answer this question and without a bible scripture. He was born as the Messiah.
He could not fulfill it because of the humans that live on this earth and have a sinful nature. We are the problem and especially the people who do not believe in Him and are going against Him on a daily basis.

Those who he has, listen to His voice, those who do not, do not listen to Him, and are not His.

Look these up so you can have an opportunity to read the bible. I hope the power of the Holy Spirit falls on you as you read the book.

Thanks for the question.

If you're really looking for answers about this topic, I recommend a book called The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. He is a journalist skeptic turned Christian because of extensive objective research he has done on many aspects and "weak points" of Christianity, and he's helped me understand a lot of things.

well according to jewish law, the law which christians depend on to define who and what the messiah is , according to that original law, Jesus isnt and never was the messiah...

it was christians that decided that they were going to completely ignore and override jewish law on the whole subject and to proclaim jesus as the messiah regardless ..

what jesus became was a mixture of near and middle eastern pagan myth and imagry mixed with a smattering of judaism... compare jesus to the cult of mithras and youll see his storey has more in commen with Mithras than anything in judaism..

Jesus became a jewish pagan man god incarnate, that many christians today worship as god in complete contradiction to jewish law... to the jewish people he isnt the messiah, in fact hes not anything ... just a guy we dont believe in ...

When you are at peace you are at peace with the world. The peace of Jesus is given to his chosen ones. If you do not have it then you cannot understand it.

Because the Christian clergy will NOT teach His message. If they did they would have to get honest jobs.

1st John 3:8 says Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. 1st Corinthians 15:24-28 tells us that Christ shall “put down” all rule, power, and authority, they being defined as God’s enemies. Then Christ shall render His own authority unto our Creator. God and God alone shall rule. Mankind will once again live in paradise enjoying the peace and freedom God intended us to have before we became subject to the rule of these other powers the Bible calls “false gods,” that divide us and cause conflict.

How can a so-called Christian claim to be “saved” by paying lip service to Jesus and at the same time be guilty of appointing, electing, funding, or serving in any manner, the very forces that the Bible says Christ will “put down?” Can you truly be “saved” while supporting those forces?” Or will you be “put down” also?

Christ died in vain because of the clergy being too cowardly to teach the truth which was to follow God and God alone which is the purpose of the Bible.

He is not the Jewish maschiach.

In Judaism, 'maschiach' just means 'anointed'. It doesn't mean 'saviour' or 'son of god' or 'divine'.

The Jewish Maschiach is just a normal, mortal man. To qualify as our maschiach, he has to fulfill our 23 prophecies *before* he dies.

There's never been any notion of a 'second coming' in Judaism.

It's worth noting that the concept OF 'maschiach' originated IN Judaism. Our Tanakh, our 'bible', details how we can recognise our real maschiach. It lists our 23 prophecies.

Yet for over 2000 yrs, Christianity has tried to get us to ignore what our Tanakh says, and instead to worship Jesus, even though he failed to fulfill our prophecies and didn't MATCH our description of our maschiach in our Tanakh.

The Jewish Maschiach must bring *world peace* before he dies. Jesus didn't - thus he didn't qualify as the Jewish maschiach.

(Matthew 10:34) - "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35"For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; 36and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household."

(Luke 12:51) - "Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; 52for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two, and two against three..."

And from the Gospel of Thomas:
16. Jesus said, "Perhaps people think that I have come to cast peace upon the world. They do not know that I have come to cast conflicts upon the earth: fire, sword, war.

For there will be five in a house: there'll be three against two and two against three, father against son and son against father, and they will stand alone."
