He prophesied that during the Son of Man’s visitation Galilean towns would be destroyed, Jerusalem would be encircled with a wall, and the Temple would be razed.
Remember these "prophecies" were written after these events had already transpired in 73AD, or one generation (40 years) after the...
"The Lord took of the best blood of the nations, and planted them on the small island now called England, or Great Britain, and gave them great powers in the nations for a thousand years, and this power will continue with them, that they may keep the balance of power, that they may keep Russia...
I know that if I had to attend such a concert, I would probably hurl myself off the nearest high point, thereby ending my little world. So, would that concert fulfill the Mayan Doomsday Prophecy?
prophecies when He was here? Judaism teaches that the messiah will fulfill the following prophecies **in a single lifetime**, and Jesus did none of these:
* The Sanhedrin will be re-established (Isaiah 1:26)
* Once he is King, leaders of other nations will look to him for guidance. (Isaiah 2:4)...
. REVELATION 11:7-8.
7. And when they shall have finished their Testimony,
the Beast that ascendeth out of the Bottomless Pit shall make war against them,
and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city,
which spiritually is called...
. REVELATION 13:15-17.
15. And he had Power to give Life unto the Image of the Beast,
that the Image of the Beast should both speak,
and cause that as many as would not worship the Image of the Beast
should be killed.
16. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond...
...prophecy against the ancient city of Tyre? Only the God of the Bible knows the future. Are you unaware of the facts of history? Tyre was destroyed exactly in the successive manner God told Ezekiel (Chapter 26) 2,600 years ago how it would happen. It is further proof the God of the Bible...
I mean, what was the point of telling people you are the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy if that's what you are really doing?
Can anyone give a good explanation as to why he should have been taken seriously?
...all the prophecies? in the old testament.....but the christians say, that he will fulfill them all when he returns...like bringing peace and gathering all the jews back....where in the bible does it say the messiah was going to finish his work after he rose from the dead?

I'm Christian and I've heard it's over 300 prophecies that Jesus Christ fulfilled from the Old Testament predicting His coming life on earth. Any good websites on this?

1. Judaism said that a MORTAL...

...Christian prophecies and not...? the Jewish prophecies?
Better question: If he was really the Messiah, why didn't he fulfill the original prophecies and not the ones that Christians made up? Don't you think if he was the Messiah and God in the flesh, he would fulfill the prophecies that...
1) JESUS DID NOT FULFILL THE MESSIANIC PROPHECIES
What is the Messiah supposed to accomplish? The Bible says that he will:

B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).
C. Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred...
