How do I fix the color on my dvd player?

I have a Philips DivX DVD player and when I tried to play a movie the saturation turned everything to turquoise and red. Is it possible to fix it and if so, how?
 
Check your cables. This sounds like some of your component RCA jacks have pulled loose.
 
It sounds like you have a problem connecting the player and TV properly. Be sure you understand the difference between composite and component video. If you use HDMI, there should be no way to get it wrong.
