How do I install home stereo speakers in my car?

I want to put 2 speakers in my cars trunk, but they are home stereo speakers. How do I make them work inside my car? I know I can somehow I have seen it done before. What do I do? Just wrap the home speaker wires around the already existing car speaker wires?
 
Yes in a cheap fashion home stereo and car speakers are almost the same.. you can tap into an existing wire but the power form the deck may not work as well
