How do you get a record deal on The Sims 3 Ambitions for iPod touch/iPhone?

Just what the question says. My sim is a musician and I need one to get promoted, but I can't figure it out. D:

1. You must have a Night Club
2. You must have 7 friends
3. Try to get all your needs (Energy, Hunger, Bladder etc.) as high as you can before going to work
4. Now it's all about luck, you could get a record deal on the first night at the night club or even the tenth night. I got my first record deal on the fourth night and the cool thing is that you keep getting record deals that are worth more money. I am now the highest level (Big Hit or something like tht.. 1000 per night)
