How do you hook up a wireless bluetooth headset to a T-mobile cell phone?

I have a wireless bluetooth headset that I want to hook up to my T-mobile cell phone. The difference is I bought the headset at K-mart and don't know if that is the right one to have for this phone. If it is, how do I hook it up to the phone?
 
You'll have to "pair" them. On the mobile go into settings somewhere and have it search for bluetooth devices. Set the headset in pairing mode, confirm, enter pincode and that is it.
