How man sit ups a day do i have to do to lose some belly along with my diet...

...and stationary bike i do? my mom likes to diss me a lot sinc jan. 5 i started my biek i eat about 1,200 cals a day i want ot lose weight but my mom jus puts me more down n sayin ma stomach is flabby my stomach is like 28 inches but still kinda has the gut. how can i lose it by doing situps?? and i do my bike everyday for 30 min and burn 400 cals... or 500 if i do 40 min.and any tips for legs? i dont wanna build muscle tho..i just want a nice tone and i cant run. i guess the bike is good for legs right?
 
Do 30 sit ups every other day and build to 100 sit ups every other day.In 90 days you should really see a difference.

Situps and crunches only tighten the muscle under the fat, which is a good thing. But to lose the belly fat, low carb and cardio are the only way to go. So it really doesn't matter if you do zero situps or 1000, it will just give you muscle underneath fat.
