It has no influence at all in British politics, in fact we don't even know whether or not our Prime minister is religious or not.Its a private issue and is of no interest to the people here.
Its difficult to quantify but most of the politics in the Middle East are heavily influenced by religion to the point that it brings them to violent confrontation.

None, other than in the voting arena, they use Gods name to get votes! Money and power is what influences politicians! They use religion as an excuse and a fear tatic to control people! But no, religion itself, does not effect the majority of politicians I believe!
too much in the USA. there is not 1 politician who is an atheist and look at the last president we had. He loved his imaginary friend more than he did the people of his country.
