How to connect Home theather to blue ray?

I recently purchase an LG blueray player and have a SOny home theater and a polaroid tv. Now i don't know how to connect the home theater to the blue ray. I looked on back of home theater and there's no HDMI connection so what other way can i put it together. Please help, any website of info would be helpful it it has a video or pic of how to, It would b great. THanks
 
You connect your blu ray disc player to the tv directly using HDMI cable and then using an optical cable connect it from the tv to the Sony home theater in a box. Hope this will help you out.
