I am trying to convert youtube videos to mp3 songs.....?

I am able to use it for songs that are under 20 minutes, any ideas on how to convert music that is longer than 20 minutes?

You can use the keepvid.com website and can put the URL of your youtube video from the address bar to the keepvid URL section and then there will be the option to convert your video file to mp3 file without any limitations.
