I recently purchased a 1997 Dodge Intrepid, 3.5 V6 from a used car lot and i had the entire car looked over by my mechanic and he had stated it needed a valve cover gasget replacement. He said that everything else was done(Tune up, Trans oil/filter change, ect.) I'm also wondering what typic of gasget is better to use on that perticular model the rubber or the silicon, i'm just now thinking of going into the do-it-yourself stuff so i don't have to pay out of my rear for the labor lol can someone help me by telling me how long i would have to work on the valve covers cause i got to remove the plantum, and wires and a hose to even get AT the suckers.
