I have a sprint cell phone and its stuck in roaming. No matter what I do....

...Any suggestions? I got in trouble so my mom took it away. I just got it back and its only been powered down for 10-15 hours. But no matter where I go, it stays in roaming. Even in my kitchen, where I usually get all my bars. Whats up with it? I can't even call sprint.
 
You should make sure that it's not just a defect with your phone. You certainly don't want Sprint charging you for roaming when you're within the calling area. You definitely need to talk to Sprint in some way or another and ask them whether the indication of roaming on your phone means that you are going to be charged for roaming. My phone used to say I was roaming when I wasn't, but my bill never indicated I was roaming.

You probably won't be able to talk to Sprint if you are not the primary account owner-- just an FYI. Your parents may have to make this call.
