Court is the same whether at night or during the day but more cases of minor offences occur at night.

You have shown the court that you are wanting to fix this problem and if you have gotten your license back they will probably give you a fine and a suspended jail sentence, which is probation for a certain amount of time. If during this time you break any laws you go to jail to complete the sentence of jail time that was suspended
 
If it is your first failed to appear they may go time considered served but it depends on the judge.
 
...night court a good or bad thing? I failed to appear for about... 2 years for driving on a suspended license. I turned myself in, bailed out, and I have to go to court tomorrow at 7pm. Is night court a good or a bad sign as far as how they intend to deal with my case?
 
court is court in my opinion whether it is night or day.....you may get a cranky judge cuz its night and he/she wants nothing else to do than be home with his/her family. but thats the only downside i see.
