only certain phones will connect with those older Mercedes (usually Motorola). You will need the correct phone and the connection cradle installed in the center console. The parts are only available at the dealer and they will be able to tell you if your phone will work at the parts department (for free) Don't go to the service department, they will probably want to charge you to look at it, but the parts guys will know what is needed to make it work and if it can be done.
