I need some sort of sticker on a license plate to ride my dirt bike off road?

I've been told that I need to get some sort of sticker for my dirt bikes license plate and mount it when I'm riding it offroad... Otherwise, I'm breaking the law?? Is this true?

By the way I'm only riding a 125cc 4 stroke bike.. and how the heck do they think I can mount my license plate on it?? I live in Arizona.

Can anybody give me information about any of this?? and how I could possibly mount the plate on
 
You need a license from the BLM to ride off road. Maybe they can advise you on the mounting
 
You only need a sticker if u are riding on public or government property. If u are riding on private property you should be good.
 
Sounds like someones pullin yer leg. Contact ( or check online) your states parks & recreations dept.
