I plan to play baseball next year in High School, but I don't know where to start.?

School just ended for us here in Chico, California and I'll be starting my first year of high school after summer break. I've always wanted to give baseball a try when I get to high school, but the only problem is that I'm afraid that I won't be too good. I played baseball for a season in 2008 when I was ten years old (5th grade) and I didn't have any experience then either, so I was pretty bad. Where should I get started if I want to play baseball in spring of 2012?

You should play in the summer whether it's for a local team or just with friends/family. Be familiar with baseball and don't just play it for the first time in a while when you try out in high school.

You'd probably regret not trying out in future if you don't. It's better to get rejected than not try out at all.
