If your psp screen brakes but your warranty is not up yet will Sony fix it for free?

My psp 3000 screen is broken it look like a liquid is coming out of it. Other than that it is fine. My warranty is not up yet. Would Sony fix it for free or would they make me pay money? May someone please answer this question please and thank you.
