you are limited to how high you can level up and how many options you get to create a character and what you can do
if you buy a minimum $5 worth of add-ons on either platform you are put in a higher category and can do more , but to enable all options , levels and character pieces you still have to pay a monthly fee ( and on ps3 you can only earn trophies if you pay the monthly fee
