i started driving lessons last year and did about 15ish lessons..i was quite nervous as left it quite late im 23 and had no experience at all. i also had a young baby and found it hard to concentrate from tiredness. i ended up quiting before christmas because my driving teacher just kept shouting at me and i start getting paniced before lessons. anyways i havent driven since but am due to restart in a few days..so gap of about 5 months. will i remember anything i learnt when i get in the car or will i have to start all over again?

Yes you never forget it. You should have dumped the idiot instructor straightaway and claimed refunds. Good luck, stay cool and enjoy the experience.

you mean riding a bike!

yes - driving is a motor skill (that means movement of your limbs - not the engine as a motor!) just like riding a bike is. Once you have perfected the movements, you never really forget them, you just need a little refresher to bring them back.

After about 30 minutes of driving it will all have come back to you.
