I want a reliable (and preferably free) music download that wont give my computer viruses and is legal. I was looking at Kazaa and it says its free and legal but i would rather have so feedback from the public =]
Kazza is legal as such, as they are a hosting site only
However, the music, or files you download are usually (but not always) illegal, due to copyright protection
Kazza like many p2p (peer to peer) sites, shares files from one user to another, meaning, if the file you share is corrupt or virus ridden, it is passed on to you on downloading - it's as simple as that!
As viruses are continually mutating, virus protection doesn't always alert, or protect you the virus definition MAY not be in the database
My advice:
Go legal and safe with, iTunes. Napster or Amazon.
