Is it possible to burn MP4 video file in CD-R and run it on my DVD player?

I've just downloaded an MP4 video file which is more or less 200MB, but no bigger than 700MB...

Is it possible to burn my MP4 video file, without converting it, in a CD-R and run it on my DVD player, and can it run on my DVD player, since my player says its MP4 Capable?
